Direct microloan program for women entrepreneurs — up to $50K, delivered through a network of non-profit lenders (WEOC, NACCA, Evol, Coralus — noting Coralus is paused in a "RESET" phase as of early 2026). Part of Canada's $55M Budget 2021 allocation. For NL, the primary channels are WEOC and NACCA-connected Indigenous Financial Institutions. Lower bar than chartered bank lending — business plans and cash-flow forecasts required but credit thresholds are accommodating. Particularly useful for NL sole proprietorships and startups excluded from CSBFP or BDC financing. Stacks with provincial grant/loan programs.
