The fast-lane version of IRAP for projects under $50K: covers up to 80% of internal labour and 50% of contractor fees. Must be an incorporated Canadian SME (<500 employees) with growth intent and profit-for-profit activity. Requires an IRAP Industrial Technology Advisor (ITA) relationship first — reach the Atlantic Canada IRAP team (Dartmouth-based, with advisors who cover NL) before applying. Shorter review cycle (weeks, not months) than a full IRAP project, so useful for unblocking a specific technical hurdle.
