Individual-level support for EI-eligible unemployed residents pursuing full-time post-secondary training (12+ weeks) or short-term training (<12 weeks). Covers tuition, books, transportation, dependent care, and living costs. Must be approved before starting — no retroactive funding. Requires a case-managed employment plan with a department representative. Training must lead to a certificate, diploma, or degree (max 3 years). High success rate for applicants who qualify; the catch is the EI-eligibility gate — if you're not a recent EI claimant you're out. Apply via EmploymentPrograms@gov.nl.ca.
