Mitacs Globalink Research Award (GRA)

$6,000 travel award for Canadian senior undergrads, grad students, and postdocs to do a 12–24 week research internship abroad (or for incoming international students to come to Canada). Runs through allocation and Quantum streams. MUN holds an annual allocation — you apply through the faculty of graduate studies, not directly to Mitacs. Lifetime cap: 2 GRAs or Mitacs-JSPS awards per person. Modest money but the international co-author/network value is what matters.
